Exotic Wildlife Furniture

Michel Hallard’s wild animal furniture is extremely exotic due to the different animal materials used. Ranging from an aray of crocodile, zebra and ostrich skin to horns and tusks, the collection dazzles.

With Big fat tusks acting as arm rests, zebra tails dangling from seats, and slithering reptile skin pieces pertruding like it does on Medusa’s head, I can’t tell if Michel Hallard’s wild animal furniture looks like a collection of bold luxurious pieces or furniture that I would find in a tribal village. Take a look through the must-see gallery, but animal-lovers, you’ve been warned.

The Ali Jabbar ‘Simple Public Figures’ art installation shows just how familiar we are with some of the world’s most powerful and infamous personalities.

This faceless artwork features the likes of Barack Obama, Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Marilyn Monroe, Larry King, and Mahatma Gandhi drawn without their eyes, noses or mouths. Still, without these distinguishing features, I’m sure you can identify every single subject from the Ali Jabbar ‘Simple Public Figures’ project.

Beautiful Flower Carpets in Italy

If you ever plan to go to Rome for the second week of May, go to a neighboring town Gensano to see the famous Infioratu - festival of colors. Gensano Infiorata - Flower Festival, which was founded in 1778. Each year, local artists cover the entire street (Belardo) floral carpets on the establishment of which they were inspired by paintings on various subjects. Festival of Flowers begins with the collection of millions of colors for 2-3 days before the event. They keep fresh in the caves Gensano, and artists paint their masterpieces on the sidewalk Via Belardo. The festival ends on Monday, the third week of June, when children are allowed to run on the flowers, destroying the great work.
